The Consumer Electronics Show
(CES) 2013 in Las Vegas is at the door and will determine in the next week
reporting significantly. At the fair, not only new smartphones and tablets will
be introduced, but new technology is on display. Including Corning will showcase
the next generation of Gorilla Glass, which is used in many
appliances.
3 of Corning Gorilla Glass at
the molecular level will receive a new glass composition, and in the future, the
display be even more scratch-resistant and stable. The company promises more
precisely a three-fold improvement in the scratch susceptibility of the glass,
and so should be scratches on the screen forty percent less visible than before.
Furthermore, the producer could probably improve the stability and the future
keep the unit from strong cracks across the entire glass surface. Of course,
keep the new generation of the smart phones and tablets do not break in front of
a screen, but small scratches will no longer be so
conspicuous.
The new Gorilla Glass 3 could
come back in the future devices from Apple and Samsung are used. The new iPhone,
the successor to the Galaxy S3 as well as the new tablets of the two companies
could benefit from the glass. CES 2013 in Las Vegas Corning will present the new
generation for the first time and show what's behind it.
