Google X Phone Aka Nexus 5 is the Latest Android 5.0 2013

Google X Phone Aka Nexus 5 is the Latest Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie Handset

Designed by Deviantart member 96design, the Google XPhone concept shown below is also dubbed the Nexus 5 and it comes with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. If everything goes well, we should see that OS in real life next month at Google I/O 2013.

The X Phone packs a 4.8 inch Full HD display and runs on a 2 GHz quad core processor, probably of the Qualcomm kind. There’s also 2 GB of RAM on board, a 13 megapixel camera at the back and a 5 megapixel front camera. There’s a colored ring flash at the back, with the classic Google Nexus logo pattern and a very cool look.
There’s a colored notification LED in the bottom area and as you can see, the bezel at the front is very small. Actually 85% of the front side of this Nexus 5 is a screen. There are transparent objects in the interface, such as the navbar or status bar. The Android experience is totally minimal and this device is truly well done. What do you think?

Google Nexus 5 Smartphone Rumours 2013

Google is reported to be considering prototypes for a planned Nexus 5 smartphone.
The web search leviathan has already enjoyed major success with its Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets, and now Android And Me website has obtained what it claims is concept artwork for the phone handset, which will be created by LG.

Apparently codenamed Megalodon, the device is claimed to feature a 5.2-inch 1920x1080 OLED display and be powered by 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 - with 3GB of RAM.
It also apparently has a 16-megapixel rear camera from OmniVision, with a 2.1-megapixel camera mounted on the front of the device.

The handset spec also mentions a 3300 mAh lithium polymer battery and it will incorporate speakers for stereo sound.

No launch date has been mooted and no official announcement has been made, but Google was expected to update its phone and tablet offerings this year when the next version of Android is unveiled.
The firm is also bringing the innovative Google Glass to market this year.

Google Chrome For iPad, iPhone And iPod Touch Now Available For Download

If Apple can take online media outlets by storm at it’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference, be sure that the folks at Mountain View execute a blow by blow retaliation. Google’s annual I/O brought in a number of announcements from the internet search giant. Another interesting one came today as Google Chrome for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch was finally made available to the public. iOS version of this popular internet browser is now available for download from the App Store.
Mobile Safari on iOS devices has been greatly improved ever since it was first introduced with the original iPhone back in 2007. Apple dubbed it as a breakthrough internet communicator in your pocket. Since then mobile Safari has received major upgrades, the biggest coming with iOS 5 late last year. While Safari does offer an amazing web browsing experience, there is no shortage of third party web browsers for iOS devices. Web browsers the likes of Opera and Dolphin are already available, though something tells me Google Chrome for iOS will garner more consumer interest than it’s rivals, notwithstanding mobile Safari of course.
Google Chrome is perhaps one of the most used browsers on laptops, desktops and Android devices around the globe. It is famous for it’s simplicity and speed. It’s good to see that these fundamentals have been retained in the iOS version of Google Chrome. The browser is no slouch in terms of performance. It also offers full synchronization of data and Google account services across devices that are linked to a singular Google account. For those who like to surf in the dark comforts of the night and their beds, Google Chrome for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch features Incognito Mode. Tabbed browsing is also a welcome addition to the overall suite of features.
Google Chrome for iOS is available as a universal binary and is obviously a free download. Only pre-requisites include being in possession of an iOS device capable of running iOS 4.3 firmware or higher. You can download Google Chrome for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch right now from the App Store.
